Maple Whiskey Cider
This Maple Whiskey Cider is the perfect fall cocktail. It uses fresh apple cider and maple whiskey - also an alternative recipe with regular whiskey.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces whiskey such as Sortilege - alternative in notes
- 2 ounces maple syrup liqueur such as Sortilege - alternative in notes
- 2 ounces apple cider not spiced, fresh
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 1 cinnamon stick
- apples optional, sliced, for garnish
- ice
Instructions
- In an ice filled martini shaker, add all ingredients except for cinnamon stick and apple slices. Shake until combined and well chilled.
- Pour over ice in a low ball glass, garnish with cinnamon stick and apple slices
Notes
- If you do not have a maple whiskey liqueur, use 2 ounces of whiskey and 1 ounce of pure maple syrup. The flavor will be a stronger whiskey flavor. Add more maple syrup if you want a sweeter drink.
