Margarita is a cocktail invented by an American in Mexico, made with tequila and lime juice, often served with salt on the rim of the glass.

Ingredients
- 2 oz. tequila
- 1 oz. triple sec , preferably Cointreau
- 1 oz. lime juice , freshly squeezed
- salt fine
- ice cubes
- 1 lice of lime vfor garnish

- Citrus squeezer
- Traditional margarita glass
Instructions
- Before making the margarita, place the glass in the freezer to cool.
- Rub the edges of the margarita glass with a wedge of lime then dip the moistened edges in fine salt.
- Pour the tequila, triple sec and lime juice into a shaker filled with a few ice cubes.
- Shake for a few seconds.
- Place the colander on the shaker, then pour the content into the margarita glass (discard the ice cubes).
- Decorate the edge of the cup with a slice of lime.
