Margherita Flatbread Pizza
Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, sliced tomatoes, and fresh basil baked over a flatbread crust.

Ingredients
- 4 flatbreads I like the Papa Pita brand, or pita breads
- 4 teaspoons garlic minced
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 Roma tomato sliced thin
- 8 small basil cut in small strips (chiffonade, leaves
- 4 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray two baking sheets with non-stick spray. Lay two flatbreads onto each baking sheet.
- Spray the tops of each flatbread with non-stick spray. Then place one teaspoon of minced garlic onto each flatbread. Spread out evenly all over the top.
- Sprinkle a half cup of shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over each flatbread. Then top cheese with four slices of tomato. Top tomato with one to two Tablespoons of basil strips.
- Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle one Tablespoon of Parmesan cheese all over the tops of each pizza.
- Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from oven and let pizzas stand for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
