Ingredients

  • 1 pita
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • Sea Salt and Freshly Cracked Pepper to taste
  • crushed red pepper flakes to taste
  • Parmesan Cheese grated
  • mozzarella cheese shredded
  • baby heirloom tomatoes sliced
  • fresh basil chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Drizzle some olive oil on the pita bread and spread it around evenly. Season with sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes, to taste.
  3. Sprinkle some parmesan on top of the pita followed by a bit of mozzarella, then place the tomato slices on top.
  4. Place the pita pizza into the oven and bake for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil; slice.
  6. Serve with grated parmesan on the side. Enjoy.
