Ingredients
- 1 pita
- Drizzle of olive oil
- Sea Salt and Freshly Cracked Pepper to taste
- crushed red pepper flakes to taste
- Parmesan Cheese grated
- mozzarella cheese shredded
- baby heirloom tomatoes sliced
- fresh basil chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Drizzle some olive oil on the pita bread and spread it around evenly. Season with sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes, to taste.
- Sprinkle some parmesan on top of the pita followed by a bit of mozzarella, then place the tomato slices on top.
- Place the pita pizza into the oven and bake for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil; slice.
- Serve with grated parmesan on the side. Enjoy.
