Marry Me Chicken Tortellini
This Marry Me Chicken Tortellini is a quick and tasty dinner perfect for picky eaters and busy weeknights. The luscious, cheesy sauce is filled with delicious flavors — it’s unlikely to have leftovers!
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken boneless, skinless, cut into bite size pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups Parmesan Cheese shredded
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- 1/2 cup tomatoes chopped, sun dried
- 1 oz cheese tortellini frozen
Instructions
- Toss your diced chicken with the salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder.
- In a large skillet over medium high heat add the butter and chicken.
- Saute your chicken until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Reduce the heat in the pan to medium.
- To the pan add your garlic, chicken broth, heavy cream, red pepper flakes and sundried tomatoes.
- Bring up to a simmer and add your tortellini.
- Cover and reduce heat to low for 7-9 minutes or until the tortellini is cooked through.
- Add the chicken and parmesan cheese to the pan and stir to combine. Serve
