Matcha Rose Latte

This Matcha Rose Latte features a homemade rose syrup that sweetens and adds a delicate floral fragrance to the green tea drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoon water slightly cooled (about 80°C, hot
  • 1-2 tablespoon rose syrup
  • 1 C milk
  • ice

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add matcha powder to a heat-safe bowl/glass and add the boiled and slightly cooled water.
  2. Give it a whisk (or use an electric frother) to dissolve the matcha.
  3. In a tall glass, add 1-2 tablespoon rose syrup (to your taste).
  4. Add ice cubes to the glass.
  5. Pour in the milk and top off with matcha.
  6. Garnish with extra rose petals (optional).
  7. Stick in a straw, give it a stir and enjoy.
