Mayo-Free Green Goddess Dressing
Zesty, herby creamy mayo-free green goddess dressing is a lighter salad dressing recipe that doesn't sacrifice flavor! Whip it up for all your salads and bowls!
Ingredients
- 1 cup yogurt plain, Greek
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup basil loosely packed, fresh
- 1 cup parsley loosely packed, fresh
- 2 Tbsp chives chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice fresh
- 1 tsp salt to taste, sea salt
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients for the green goddess dressing to a small blender or a food processor.
- Blend (or process) until the herbs are finely chopped and the dressing is thick and creamy and has reached your desired consistency.
- Taste the dressing for flavor and add more sea salt or lemon juice to taste. Note that salad dressings always taste less strong when mixed into salad, so keep that in mind before making changes.
- Store homemade green goddess dressing in a jar with a lid or an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
