Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (pre-made or homemade)
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 10 meatballs sliced (see note)
  • 1 ½ cups baby spinach
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Roll pizza dough into a rectangle about 10"x18" and brush with beaten egg all over.
  3. Top with sliced meatballs, 1-2 cups spinach, 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning on top.
  4. Starting on the long side, roll up the dough like a jelly roll and pinch all seams to seal. Place seam side down on a parchment lined baking sheet, and brush the outside with the remaining beaten egg.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown on the outside, and serve with marinara sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

  • I use this homemade meatball recipe to make this meatball bread. I usually make a big batch and then freeze the extras for later. You can absolutely use your favorite brand of frozen (and thawed) meatballs or your own homemade recipe if you prefer.
