Melting Velveeta Cheese (Step-by-Step Instructions)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Shred the cheese or cut it into ½ inch cubes.
  2. Melt some butter in a saucepan over medium/low heat. Stir the butter with a wooden spoon until it melts.
  3. Add Velveeta cheese.
  4. Stir constantly until it’s at about the halfway point of melting. This will help to prevent it from burning.
  5. When the cheese has melted, add 7 tablespoons of milk and continue to stir until it has a smooth consistency.
  6. Season with your favorite spices. Serve and enjoy.
