A Mexican Mule is inspired by the classic Moscow mule, using tequila instead of vodka. It's crisp and refreshing and so easy to make!

- 2 oz tequila blanco
- 1 tablespoon lime juice ½ lime
- 4 oz ginger beer
Instructions
- Fill a copper mug or highball glass with ice
- Pour in the tequila and lime juice
- Top up the mug or glass with ginger beer
- Garnish with jalapeno slices, if desired and lime wedges

Notes
- Don't skimp on ice. A Mexican mule needs to be icy cold, so fill your glass or mug right up with ice.
- Your ginger beer should be well chilled.
- Because of the strong distinctive taste of tequila, I find that a spicy brand of ginger beer works best for this drink.
- However, do try a couple of ginger beer brands to find the one that you like best.
- Use a jigger or small measuring cup to measure your tequila into each glass.
