Ingredients

  • 4 tomato Chopped
  • 1/2 red onion Chopped
  • 60 ml Coriander
  • 1 jalapeño Seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Begin by adding chopped tomatoes, chopped red onion, fresh cilantro, a seeded and finely chopped jalapeño pepper, and minced garlic to a blender.
  2. Add fresh lime juice and salt to the mixture.
  3. Blend the ingredients until smooth and well combined.
  4. Taste the salsa and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  5. Transfer the salsa to a serving bowl, cover it, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to blend together.
  6. When ready to serve, give the salsa a good stir and serve it chilled with tortilla chips, or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or other Mexican dishes.
