Mini Waffles
Fluffy, golden brown, and totally scrumptious, Mini Waffles are a small but mighty way to start the day!
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 egg large
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3 1/2 tablespoons butter melted and cooled, unsalted
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preferred toppings such as maple syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Preheat the mini waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions and lightly grease it.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the waffle maker. Cook until golden brown and crispy, about 4 to 6 minutes per waffle. Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve waffles immediately with your preferred toppings.
