Mulled Wine

Mulled Wine is the best cold-weather cocktail! Grab your crock pot to make this seasonal wine spiced with cloves, allspice, cinnamon & orange!

Ingredients

  • 750 mL red wine
  • 2 ounces port wine
  • 2 cinnamon stick plus more for garnish
  • 6 clove whole
  • 2 allspice whole
  • 1 orange zested
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Orange slices for garnish

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Turn to LOW and steep until wine is steaming but not boiling, about 1 hour.
  3. Pour wine through a strainer into glasses.
  4. Garnish with orange slices and a cinnamon stick, if desired.

Notes

  • If you want to keep your mulled wine warm once it's done cooking, turn your slow cooker to WARM and keep covered until ready to serve.
  • Storing: Strain out spices and pour wine into a pitcher and cover with plastic wrap. It will keep for about 2 days in the fridge.
