Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow mustard
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 large pinch ground cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup yellow mustard, ⅓ cup honey, ⅓ cup brown sugar, ½ cup apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoon worcestershire, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 1 large pinch ground cayenne, 1 teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper, and ½ teaspoon hot sauce, in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Bring the heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes, until the color deepens and the sauce slightly thickens.
  3. Cool completely and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container. Use as you would any other BBQ sauce.
