Naan Bread

Ingredients

  • 300 g self raising flour
  • 1 eggs
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 100 ml water Warm

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl add the ingredients into a bowl then combine the ingredients together to form a firm dough – add more water if required
  2. Oil the bowl and leave the dough to set and rise for at least half an hour
  3. Create small balls with the dough and then roll out
  4. Add water on one side of the naan bread
  5. Cook on a pan for a few minutes until a few bubbles form
  6. Flip the pan and cook the naan for a few more minutes until the naan bread is browned
  7. Add butter and garlic or coriander if desired
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy with your favourite kebab and curry!
