Ninja Air Fryer Green Beans are fresh green beans tossed with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon juice, then air fried until tender and slightly crisp. A finishing sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese adds savory richness. This preparation keeps the beans flavorful with a lightly crispy texture achievable in just 8-10 minutes.
Ingredients
- 500 g green beans approximately 1 lb, fresh, stems removed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1-3 cloves garlic use more or less, depending on taste, minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper (or more to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese grated
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees F (or 190 degrees C). In a medium-sized bowl, combine the green beans, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Drizzle over the lemon juice, then combine.
- Arrange the green beans in a single layer, inside your air fryer basket, and air fry for 8-10 minutes until tender and cooked through. Increase the time if you prefer your green beans more crispy (see notes). Depending on the air fryer model you are using, shake the basket or flip the green beans halfway through cooking.
- Transfer to a plate, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top, then serve.
Notes
- Increase cooking time by 2-minute increments if the green beans are not yet tender or crispy enough for your preference.
- Shaking or flipping the beans halfway helps ensure even cooking and browning.
