Ninja Creami Frozen Yogurt
This creamy, thick, sweet yet tangy frozen treat can be made with only 5 minutes of effort.
Ingredients
- 2 ⅔ cups Greek yogurt 665g
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or more, to taste
Instructions
- Add Greek yogurt to an empty Ninja CREAMi container and mix in the maple syrup to your taste. Cover and freeze on a level surface in the freezer for 24 hours.
- Remove container from freezer, take off the lid, and place it in the Ninja CREAMi according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Select “frozen yogurt” and let it process.
- When done, open and check. If needed re-spin up to 2 times.
- Serve as is or with desired toppings.
Notes
- Let it freeze for a full 24 hours. The yogurt base must be fully frozen to process correctly.
- If you are impatient like me, it’s a good idea to prep and freeze a couple of pint at a time. That way you don’t have to wait for your treat.
- Frozen treat not smooth enough? Use the re-spin function. And if it’s still not the right texture, simply re-spin as is. add a splash of water or juice and re-spin again.
- Keep your favorite mix-ins stashed in the freezer so they’re frozen and ready to use when you add them.
- Make sure to freeze the pint container on a level surface in the freezer.
- Be sure your machine is assembled correctly according to the manufacturer's directions before processing.
- Storage - keep in an airtight container inside the freezer for up to a month.
