Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream

It’s easy to make this healthy frozen treat with just 5 ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 0.88 ounces (25g) 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
  • 1 Tablespoon peanut butter
  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup (237ml) unsweetened almond milk or other unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 2 tablespoons plant-based heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a Ninja Creami pint container. Seal with the lid and freeze flat for 24 hours.
  3. To process, remove from the freezer, take off the lid, and place it in the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Push the light ice cream button.
  4. When done, check the consistency. If needed, select re-spin for additional processing.

Notes

  • If you want this sweeter, then feel free to add 1 tablespoon of Swerve sweetener.
  • Let this freeze for a full 24 hours. The ice cream base must be fully frozen to process correctly.
  • If you don't want to wait, it's a good idea to prep and freeze more than one pint at a time.
  • Is your ice cream not smooth enough? Use the re-spin function. And if it’s still not the right texture, simply add a splash of cream or milk and re-spin again.
