Dumplings Without Suet Ingredients:
- 350 g self raising flour
- 50 g butter
- 2 large eggs
- 125 g grated cheddar cheese
- 60 ml skimmed milk
- 1 Tbsp mixed herbs
- ½ Tbsp rosemary
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- Place seasonings, flour and butter into a bowl and rub with your fingertips until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
- Crack in the eggs, add grated cheese and add milk.
- Using your hands mix until you have a soft dough. Place the dough on a floured worktop and flour your rolling pin.
- Roll out the dough and divide into 9 pieces of dough.
- Then make each piece of dough into a small to medium dough ball.
- Load into the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes at 180c/360f. Or 4 minutes if you are adding it to a stew.

Notes
- Stew. If you would like to add your dumplings into your stew, then decrease the cook time to 4 minutes and then place in the slow cooker with the stew for the last hour of cooking.
