Ingredients

Dumplings Without Suet Ingredients:
  • 350 g self raising flour
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 125 g grated cheddar cheese
  • 60 ml skimmed milk
  • 1 Tbsp mixed herbs
  • ½ Tbsp rosemary
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place seasonings, flour and butter into a bowl and rub with your fingertips until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
  2. Crack in the eggs, add grated cheese and add milk.
  3. Using your hands mix until you have a soft dough. Place the dough on a floured worktop and flour your rolling pin.
  4. Roll out the dough and divide into 9 pieces of dough.
  5. Then make each piece of dough into a small to medium dough ball.
  6. Load into the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes at 180c/360f. Or 4 minutes if you are adding it to a stew.

Notes

  • Stew. If you would like to add your dumplings into your stew, then decrease the cook time to 4 minutes and then place in the slow cooker with the stew for the last hour of cooking.
