Ninja Foodi Rice

Ingredients
- 2 cup basmati rice (180 grams)
- 2.5 cup water
- 1 teaspoon ghee optional, or oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
Instructions
- Wash basmati rice until the water runs clear. If soaking, soak the rice in excess water for 1 hour. After the soaking time is done, rinse the rice.
- Add the water and rice to the ninja foodi pressure cooker. If using, add the ghee/oil and salt. Start the pressure cooker for 2 minutes on high pressure with vent in sealing position.
- When the ninja foodi beeps, do 10 minutes natural pressure release, which means release the pressure manually 10 mnutes after the ninja foodi beeps.
- Fluff the rice with a ladle or fork. Let them stand for 5 more minutes.
- Rice is ready to be served with your favorite curry.
Notes
- Storing Cooked Rice: Let it cool completely, then pack it in airtight containers to store. Cooked rice can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.
