Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter unsalted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 2/3 cup peanut butter creamy
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups oats quick-cooking

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, milk, salt, and cocoa powder.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture comes to a rolling boil. Let it boil for 1 minute without stirring.
  3. Remove from heat. Immediately add peanut butter and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth. Stir in the oats until well combined.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto parchment-lined baking sheets. Let cool until set, about 15 to 20 minutes.
