  4. Use quick-cooking or instant noodles to fill each jar
  5. Screw lids on each jar.
  6. Store the jars in the fridge until about 20 minutes before you want to eat them, then remove and let them stand at room temp for 15 minutes
  7. Fill each jar with boiling water to cover the ingredients
  8. Put the lids back on the jars and let them stand for 5-10 minutes to allow the noodles to cook.
  9. Stir and serve

Notes

  • Be sure to use wide-mouth jars for ease of filling, and of eating.
  • To make these jars gluten-free, use rice or soba noodles, and gluten-free soy sauce or tamari. Gluten-free pasta, such as spaghetti, will not work because it requires a longer cooking time.
  • Keep filled jars in the fridge until ready to use.
  • The jars will be very hot when ready to eat. Use caution.
