Nutella Rice Krispie Treat Footballs

Nutella Rice Krispie Treats are a deliciously easy dessert, make them football shaped for game day parties or Superbowl Sunday!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 10 oz bag mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • White decorating icing

Instructions

  1. Line a 9” x 13” baking dish with parchment paper and lightly coat with cooking spray.
  2. Add the butter to a large pot over low-medium heat.
  3. Once the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and continuously stir until melted.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the Nutella until smooth.
  5. Add the rice krispies and stir until coated.
  6. Use a buttered spatula to press the mixture into the parchment paper lined baking dish.
  7. Cool for 30 minutes – 1 hour.
  8. Grab the parchment paper and remove the rice krispie treats from the baking dish.
  9. Use a football shaped cookie cutter to cut the rice krispie treats into football shapes.
  10. Use the white decorating icing to draw the laces on the footballs.
  11. Serve immediately, or cover tightly until ready to serve.
