Ingredients

  • 5 large eggs
  • 600 grams milk
  • 80 grams sugar
  • 100 grams dark chocolate cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. In a large bowl, add the eggs and sugar and lightly beat them together.
  3. Add the milk into a pot and bring it to a bowl.
  4. Break up the chocolate pieces and place them into a boil. Pour the hot milk over the chocolate and stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
  5. Slowly combine the chocolate mixture with the eggs and stir together.
  6. Pour the chocolate cream into the ramekins and place them into a larger deep baking pan.
  7. Add hot water to the pan until it covers half the ramekins.
  8. Bake in a bain-marie for about 20 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow the chocolate pudding to cool.
  10. Serve with shredded dark chocolate on top.
