Ingredients
- 1 package semi sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup butter / shortening
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup Crushed almonds
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla.
- Melt the chocolate chips and mix into the creamed butter mixture.
- In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking soda and salt, add creamed buttter mixture and stir well.
- Mix in oats, milk and and raisins.
- Once combined well, chill for 1 hour then form into small balls and roll in the crushed almonds.
- Place on greased cookie sheet, bake for 11-13 minutes.
- Cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
