Olive Garden Berry Sangria
This Olive Garden Berry Sangria combines Merlot wine with cran-raspberry juice and a simple sugar syrup to create a balanced fruity drink. Fresh strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries add natural sweetness and serve as garnish. The sangria is prepared by mixing the liquids ahead and allowing the flavors to meld for a few hours, providing a refreshing beverage with berry notes and a wine base.
Ingredients
- 750 ml red wine I used Merlot
- 2 cups cran-raspberry juice
- 1/4 cups simple sugar syrup
- fresh berries strawberry to garnish
- fresh berries blackberry
- fresh berries Blueberry
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except the fresh fruit in a large container; stir well to combine. Let mixture stand a couple of hours before serving. When serving, place ice into glass, then fresh fruit and sangria and garnish glass with a strawberry.
