Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon canola or vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup minced shallots
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast, cubed
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 TBS fish sauce
  • 2 teaspoon white sugar
  • 2 teaspoon lower-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon chili paste such as sriracha
  • 2 teaspoon water
  • ½ teaspoon cornstarch
  • Dash of Salt
  • ⅓ cup fresh basil leaves torn apart
