Ingredients

  • 1 large orange peeled, seedless
  • 1 large carrot (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 1 medium banana
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 inch-piece ginger thinly sliced, fresh
  • 2 tablespoons flax seed meal
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric
  • ice to taste

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and puree until smooth. Add enough ice to reach the desired consistency.

Notes

  • I use powdered turmeric for this but if you have fresh that’s even better! For a thicker consistency, frozen bananas are a great option and perfect for stashing away overly ripe bananas.
