Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • 1 cup orange juice freshly squeezed or from concentrate
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen banana slices
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • Optional: honey for added sweetness

  1. In a blender, combine the vanilla Greek yogurt, orange juice, frozen mango chunks, frozen banana slices, vanilla extract, and orange zest.
  2. Pour in the milk and blend the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding honey if desired.
  4. If the smoothie is too thick, add more milk or orange juice to reach the desired consistency. If it's too thin, add more frozen fruit.
  5. Pour the Orange Creamsicle Smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately, garnished with an extra sprinkle of orange zest, if desired.

Notes

  • While using frozen fruits helps create a thicker, creamier smoothie, you can use fresh fruits if you prefer. However, you may need to add ice cubes to the blender to achieve a similar texture and temperature.
