Orange Fluff Salad Recipe
Orange Fluff Salad blends orange-flavored gelatin with orange juice, cottage cheese, Cool Whip, and mandarin oranges to create a creamy, fruity dessert salad. The texture is light and airy with sweet citrus notes, suitable as a refreshing side or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 package gelatin powder 3 ounces, orange flavor
- 1 cup water boiling
- 1 cup orange juice
- 8 ounces cottage cheese 1 cup
- 8 ounces Cool Whip thawed
- 8 ounces mandarin orange 1 cup
Instructions
- Dissolve the orange Jello in boiling water. Stir for about 2 minutes to completely dissolve it.
- Add orange juice and mix.
- Refrigerate the gelatin mixture until it just starts to thicken and gel. This usually takes 30-45 minutes. You want it to still be liquid but start to thicken.
- Drain the mandarin oranges. Then stir in the cottage cheese, Cool Whip, and mandarin oranges.
- Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
