Ingredients
- 1 package orange gelatin powder 3 ounces
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup orange juice
- 8 ounces cottage cheese 1 cup
- 8 ounces Cool Whip thawed
- 8 ounces mandarin oranges 1 cup
Instructions
- Dissolve the orange Jello in boiling water. Stir for about 2 minutes to completely dissolve it.
- Add orange juice and mix.
- Refrigerate the gelatin mixture until it just starts to thicken and gel. This usually takes 30-45 minutes. You want it to still be liquid but start to thicken.
- Drain the mandarin oranges. Then stir in the cottage cheese, Cool Whip, and mandarin oranges.
- Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.

- Stir in mini marshmallows or shredded coconut for extra sweetness.
