Orange Hot Chocolate
The perfect pick me up, this easy Orange Hot Chocolate is done in about 10 minutes. It’s perfect to serve 1-2, and is creamy with the perfect hint of orange.
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 ounces milk chocolate
- 2 tablespoons orange juice fresh
- 1 teaspoon orange fresh zest
Instructions
- In a small saucepan or microwavable bowl, combine the milk, cream, and chocolate. Gently heat, stirring frequently, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the orange juice and orange zest.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- I usually use Hershey’s chocolate. You can use a darker chocolate, but it will not be as sweet.
- Top with whipped cream, if desired.
