Ingredients

  • kosher salt for the glass rim
  • 1 cup orange juice freshly squeeze
  • 1/2 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 6 oz (175g) tequila
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Fresh lime wedges for garnishing
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Add some kosher salt to a flat plate. Wet the rims of the glasses by rubbing them with water. Turn the glasses upside down and dip the rims into the salt, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  2. Combine the orange juice, lime juice, triple sec, tequila, and sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add more orange juice, lime juice, tequila, and/or sugar to achieve your desired taste.
  3. Fill the glasses with ice cubes and add a couple of lime wedges. Pour the orange-lime margarita into the glasses and serve immediately.
