Ingredients
Bisquick Shortcakes
- 2 1/3 cups Bisquick
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3 tablespoon sugar
- 3 tablespoon butter *melted
Strawberries
- 1 lb strawberries *stems removed, sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees and add the sliced strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar to a bowl. Stir and place bowl into the refrigerator to chill.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick, milk, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until just combined.
- Drop the biscuit mixture onto a baking sheet, making 6 drop biscuits.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 14-16 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and cool slightly.
- To serve, split a shortcake in half. To the bottom half, add whipped cream and strawberries (with juice). Place top half on and add more whipped cream and strawberries. Serve and enjoy!
