Ingredients
- 400 g chicken breast Fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 100 g plain flour
- 2 eggs beaten
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- cooking spray for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-assisted) and lightly grease a baking tray with cooking spray or olive oil.
- In a shallow dish, combine the plain flour with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another shallow dish, place the beaten eggs.
- In a third shallow dish, spread out the breadcrumbs.
- Coat each piece of chicken in the seasoned flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat evenly with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken nuggets on the prepared baking tray, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Lightly spray the tops of the chicken nuggets with cooking spray or drizzle with a little olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the nuggets are golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through cooking.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
