Oven Baked Onion Rings

These oven baked onion rings are a much more healthy option than the deep fried version. A lightly seasoned but crispy coating make these a great side dish.

Notes

  • You can use any breadcrumbs you like, however we find that panko gets them nice and crispy.
  • Feel free to change the seasoning used. You could swap Cajun for Mexican, Italian or Curry Powder.
  • Cooking times will depend on your own and how crispy you like your onion rings. Keep an eye on them and take them out when they are cooked to your liking.
  • Add some extra flavour to these by mixing some grated Parmesan in to the breadcrumbs.
