Pan Fried Herb Shrimp

Dried herbs and spices make a delicious mix to season this Pan Friend Herb Shrimp dish. It’s easy to throw together on a weeknight and doesn’t take much to turn it into a meal. This recipe is suits the autoimmune protocol diet (AIP), and paleo diets.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Shrimp shelled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon tarragon dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 3 tablespoons lard avocado oil, clarified butter or coconut oil would be good as well

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place the shrimp in a bowl.
  2. Add the salt and spices to the bowl and then toss. Make sure to coat the shrimp evenly when tossing.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the lard over medium high heat.
  4. Next add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve hot.
