Ingredients

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together milk, butter, and egg.  Add sugar, then gradually beat in the flour.  Carefully stir in the baking powder and salt.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan, and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Cut into squares and serve!
