Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops about 1 inch thick
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large egg beaten

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and setting a wire rack on top.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Dip each pork chop into the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly with the Parmesan mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the seared pork chops to the prepared wire rack and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
