Ingredients

  • 6 small tomatoes halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (207°C).
  2. Rinse the tomatoes and slice them in half. Toss gently with the olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Arrange the tomatoes in a baking dish and top with Parmesan cheese. Roast the tomatoes for about 15-20 minutes, or until the Parmesan cheese is melted and the top is slightly browned.
  3. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You may use Mozarella cheese as the cheese topping.
