- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter softened, unsalted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 egg room temperature, large
- 1/4 cup sour cream room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract pure
- 2 cups peach peeled, pitted, and sliced, fresh
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in sour cream and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in the sliced peaches.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
