Peanut Butter Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/3 cup fat free milk
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9X5 inch loaf pan with a non-stick cooking spray.  
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.  
  3. Add in the egg, milk and peanut butter and blend with a hand held mixer until combined and smooth. 
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. 
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. 
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then turn the bread out onto a wire rack to cool completely.  
  7. Once the bread has cooled, it’s ready to slice, serve and enjoy!  

Notes

  • Store any leftover bread in an airtight container or bag at room temperature for up to 4-5 days.
