Peanut Butter Frosting

This creamy, rich Peanut Butter Frosting is whipped to perfection, can be easily piped or spread on your favorite cake, brownie, or cookie!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 – 4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add in the butter and peanut butter. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium until combined and smooth.
  2. Add in the powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of heavy cream, and the vanilla extract. Beat on low until the powdered sugar is mostly incorporated.
  3. If the frosting is thick, add more heavy cream one tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Press a piece of plastic wrap on top of the frosting so a crust doesn’t form and store in the refrigerator.
