Pecan Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter melted, unsalted
  • 1 cup pecans , coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 cup milk whole
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar , packed
  • 1 1/2 cups water hot

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray baking spray in a 9x13 baking pan, then pour butter into pan and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  3. In a large bowl whisk together the milk, vanilla and sugar.
  4. Add in the flour, baking powder and salt and whisk until just combined.
  5. Spoon batter over the butter and pecans, careful to not mix the butter in.
  6. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the batter.
  7. Gently pour the water over the batter and sugar.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
