Pecan + Raisin Instant Pot Oatmeal

Pecan and raisin instant pot oatmeal is a delicious start to any morning! Make it easily in the pressure cooker to have it waiting and ready for you.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 3 ½ cups water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup pecans chopped
  • ¼ cup raisins

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all the ingredients in the pressure cooker or Instant Pot.
  2. Place the vent in the sealing position and press porridge mode.
  3. Set time for 1 minute (see note).
  4. The pressure will naturally release on porridge mode.
  5. Stir and adjust consistency with additional milk or cream if desired.

Notes

  • Sometimes the IP can give a burn notice when cooking oatmeal. I don't have this problem in my 6 quart but I have had reports of it happening in the 8 quart. The oatmeal will not burn, but it may be golden brown on the bottom. This is normal and fine.
