Peppermint Bark Chocolate Pretzel Bites
Peppermint Bark Chocolate Pretzel Bites combine salty pretzel squares with peppermint Hershey Kisses melted briefly and topped with another pretzel, then dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with crushed peppermint candy. The result is a bite-sized treat with a mix of crunchy, sweet, and minty flavors, finished with a smooth chocolate coating that sets firm.
Ingredients
- 80 pretzels square bites
- 40 peppermint Hershey Kisses
- 10 ounces dark chocolate melting wafers
- 3 tablespoons Peppermint candy crushed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F.
- Place 40 pretzels on a baking sheet and top each with a peppermint kiss, bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and immediately press a pretzel on top of each of the kisses and allow to cool.
- Once they have set, melt the chocolate wafers on 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Dip each of the pretzel bites in the chocolate and place on parchment paper to set. Sprinkle with the crushed peppermint candies before the chocolate has set.
Notes
- If melting wafers are unavailable, use chocolate chips with ½ teaspoon coconut or vegetable oil to achieve smooth melting.
- Store completed pretzel bites in an airtight container in a cool place for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
- This recipe uses Snyder’s SNAPS pretzels, but square pretzels of similar size work as well.
