Peppermint Buddies
It was seriously like Christmas in my mouth and I couldn’t stop eating them! I think this became my favorite of all of the muddy buddy versions that I have made!

Ingredients
- 10 ounces white almond bark, or white chocolate
- 1 teaspoon shortening
- 5 cups Chex Cereal, any variety
- ⅓ cup crushed peppermint candy canes
- ½ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Place 5 cups of Chex cereal into a large bowl, and set aside.
- Add the almond bark and shortening to a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until melted.
- Once melted, add the crushed peppermint candy and stir to combine.
- Pour the melted mixture over the cereal. Stir to coat the cereal well.
- In a large zip-lock bag, add the powdered sugar. Pour the cereal mixture into the bag and seal the bag. Shake to coat the cereal in the powdered sugar.

Notes
- I used a food processor to crush the candy canes. It worked great and made the candy canes very fine and the perfect consistency for the mix.
