Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1 bag Christmas chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Andes Peppermint Crunch Pieces
  • peppermint extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Cream butter, oil and sugars in your mixer.
  3. Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt to a separate bowl and mix well. Add to wet ingredients and mix well.
  5. Add chocolate chips, peppermint crunch pieces, almond extract, and vanilla (add additional peppermint extract - 1 tsp. if you want it to have more peppermint taste). Mix well.
  6. Bake at 350 for 7-8 minutes.
