PepperMint Crisp Tart

Ingredients

  • 500 ml of Fresh whipping cream
  • 380 g of Caramel
  • 200 g of Coconut ookies
  • 1 Peppermint Crisp Chocolate Bars

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Grate the peppermint chocolate, or to make the step easier you can blend it in a mixer.
  2. Whip the fresh cream until firm.
  3. Add the caramel to the cream and mix well with a spatula.
  4. Mix gently so as not to disassemble the cream.
  5. Add 3/4 of the grated mint chocolate to the mixture and mix well with a spatula.
  6. In a 30x40 pan, place a layer of cookies.
  7. Pour some of the caramel mixture, then add another layer of cookies.
  8. Pour the rest of the caramel mixture over the second layer of cookies.
  9. Sprinkle the last bits of Peppermint Crisp chocolate on top.
  10. Let cool in the fridge for at least 4 hours before serving.
  11. Our delicious Peppermint Crisp tart is ready!

Notes

  • Peppermint Crisp is a chocolate bar made in South Africa. It can be difficult to find outside of South Africa. I stocked up from South Africa. If not, a peppermint flavored chocolate bar will probably do the trick. You'll find the link in the recipe.
