Peppermint Martini (Candy Cane Martini)
A Candy Cane Martini will beat the winter doldrums this holiday season. It’s simple to make and delights the eye as well as your taste buds!
Ingredients
- ½-1 ounce peppermint schnapps 60-proof, amount depending on how minty you’d like your martini
- ½ ounce vodka vanilla flavored
- 1 ½ ounces white creme de cacao
- 2 ounces heavy cream
- simple syrup for rimming glass, or grenadine
- peppermint candies for rimming glass
Instructions
- Crush the peppermint candies and place in a shallow dish. Prepare your martini glass by dipping the rim of the glass in simple syrup or grenadine, then dipping it into the crushed peppermint candies.
- Add remaining ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until everything is thoroughly mixed and chilled, then strain into your prepared glass.
